Community Priorities
United Way works to advance the common good in these key areas:
Caring for People in Crisis
Helping people in times of need and crisis to meet basic life necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, medications, and support is a basic component of our community's committment to caring. United Way ensures that this safety net is strong and effective.
Families are the cornerstone of a vibrant community. United Way is committed to strengthening families, so they achieve greater self-sufficiency. We want families to develop to fullest potential, live safe and healthy lives, and contribute positively to society.
United Way wants to make a different for the children and youth of our community. By encouraging our youth, giving them hope, and providing them with opportunities to learn, we can inspire them to grow up healthy, responsible and successful.
We are committed to building a health community - to do the hard work that is needed to ensure that quality services are affordable and accessible to help people in our community enjoy physical and mental well-being.
