2015 Days of Caring: October 8th and 9th

Imagine all the good we an accomplish together in 2 days.

Day of Caring is an annual tradition of creating teams in the community (businesses and organizations) that go out and work on volunteer projects in Defiance County. It’s an event that gives people a low-commitment way to try out volunteering that hopefully will turn into longer-term decision to volunteer. This year we have decided to open up the projects to two days to make an even greater impact!

We are currently accepting project request forms for Days of Caring. If you would like to submit a project in Defiance County, please fill out a project request form and return it to United Way of Defiance County by email (uwmarketing@defmet.com) or mail by Friday, Sept. 4th.

Once applications have been reviewed and approved, they will be available at the Community Engagement Center (www.volunteerdefiancecounty.com) for teams to sign-up on Monday, September 7th.

Projects will be scheduled in shifts 9AM-noon and 1PM-4PM Thursday and Friday October 8th and 9th.
